There’s probably someone else out there doing that already… say the unbelievers.
You can’t make a living starting things like that… says every pessimist clothed a realist.
You don’t have enough expertise to create value in that… says every amygdalae before launching into the unknown.
Being a realist is easy because it stops you before the potential pain and struggle. Being a doubter is safe because you’ll never have to experience coming up short. Being an unbeliever is believable in a culture that tells you success looks like this and you’ll never have that.
Whatever it is the unbeliever says, you need to learn to become the opposite. Ignorance is not the invitation, rather, an invitation lies in looking past the knee-jerk reaction of doubt that every unbeliever uses to mask the fear before them.
Should you choose to take a chance and start doing that thing you’ve been putting off… Should you launch into the unknown, attempting to make a living creating things that fascinate you… Or should you head out into the world with the aspiration of adding value with what’s in your hands today, you just might realize you’re not so bad at it. You might begin to see the opportunity of turning your interests into a career. You might become a creator who adds value to people around you. You just might become a believer.
My advice is that you take a step deeper today and begin to look past the worry that holds you at bay. I would encourage you to venture into the unknown and simply start. You likely have very little to lose and benefit to realize how much strength capacity you already have within you. The unknown scares off unbelievers but don’t let it scare you off because it’s where you feel most alive.
